Issac saunters over and pulls his gun from its holster. "You want that open?" he says gesturing to the padlock.

"Hell no." I say gesturing to the smashed in window. "It is midnight, the city has gone to shit and I am not walking all the way home and taking the STAIRS fourteen floors up. I want to fortify this place and hunker down, read this intel, maybe get this helmet lock off and get forty winks." I make a bow like directional gesture.
"So naturally after you."

Grumbling that he will get his suit dirty Issac puts his gun on top of a crate and begins to move them until they are arranged below the broken window in steps. He climbs (-1) up to the window after retrieving his gun and peers through. (Spot -1, listen -1) If it is clear he lowers himself down into the room.

Zack moves up behind him, keeping an eye out for observation and an ear piqued incase of sudden sounds, moving in behind him if he enters without attack.

With the crates already acting as stair to the smashed window, clambering through it would prove relatively easy. On peering through, you see that the factory interior is dark but other than a few broken machines and grafitti adorning the walls it is otherwise empty.

I offer a hand when Isaac gives the all clear and help lower him down. Clambering in thereafter, immediately heading for the broken machines and inspecting them, looking for anything usable, as well as looking for any upper floor offices or similar defensible locations within and any other exits or discarded tools.
"Heh. Looks like it would make a good hideout after all. If we don't all die of radiation in... oh what four days tops? Keep watching movies."
(Especially on the look out for a decent prybar, possibly among any old pallets or packing crates, and electrical components.)
"So... manifest. I have a history in computing and electrical engineering, which I suspect will be handy if this state of 'all fucked up' remains indefinitely, and boxing... which has already proven handy, I am also a trained first aider and have all the aforementioned required tools on me. Obviously you are a secret agent or what have you, you other than sleeping with women, being a master of disguise, an expert lock pick, catburgler and being able to kill a man with your pinky finger... what skills do you have?"

Vitality 1 Wounds 14/14
"It looks defensible but it needs some work. We could barricade that window for the night for a start as its an easy target with those steps leading up. I used to be an agent breaking into rival companies and government department stealing secrets and the like. I quit recently to become an inventor but haven't invented anything yet, got some engineering know-how (more the mechanical kind than computers) and can put together gadgets and things but to be honest I'm better at taking things apart than constructing them so if you need me to disable an alarm or a trap I'm your man. Also I can talk my way out of most situations, my father was a diplomat and I've picked up some of his charm I guess."
Issac moves over to the broken machines and begins inspecting them, intending to deconstruct them for construction materials such as cogs, axles, screws, bolts and small sheets of metal with useful appendages such as holes or hooks.

"Great... actually then in the morning when we have some proper light, you can help me deconstruct the helmets for their night vision and radios, along with whatever else lay within them." He says with a smile. "Glad to see a field man can lower himself to the level of techs once in a while."

Zack on your poking around you find metal bar that looks like ot could work as a decent prybar as for electrical component and tools the factory seems to have been picked clean by whoever else has used this place. In the far corner you notice a set of stairs leading up to what appears to be the office, and a pair of double doors below.
Isaac, looking over the broken machines you estimate that with 5 hours you could dismantle the machinery in here and gain a fair amount of future crafting supplies, though you can already tell that some of the electrical component may be beyond easy repair.

Zack listens very carefully, quietly testing each step as he ascends, prybar in hand, to the upper office, looking for any sign of recent habitation. If he gets to the top without hearing anything he tries the door, if it is locked he pries it open.

Zack carefully ascends the stairs, which creak with each step, to the office. Peering through the doors window you see that the office houses a large computer desk and dozens of filing cabinets, it doesnt appear that anyone else has been up here, the room is covered in a thick layer of dust. Testing the door, you find it to be locked so you try out your prybar jamming it into the door, a frw good heaves latter and the door flies open.

Zack gestures down to Cooper. "Defensible location up here, should do for the night, I'm gonna kip, long day of work, with the morning light I will start work on the helmets and we can plan our next move, any objections?" As he dumps his coat and bag in the corner and strips off the Velcro side straps on the body armor, preparing to bed down, sleeping with his prybar in reach.

Issac follows and removes his vest and suit jacket bunching it into a small pillow. He lays down hands behind his head comfortably and says softly "No objections", a contented look on his face and feeling somewhat useful once again.

Issac wakes at daybreak. He then loads his gun to full by redistributing the bullets in each of his magazines and goes downstairs to begin deconstructing the machines downstairs to make some gadgets with (craft gadget +9).

(500xp for the surviving the initial outbreak and meeting up)
The pair of you sleep soundly, if a little uncomfortable on the floor.
In the morning you wake and set about deconstructing the machinery and the helmets.
The machinery proves relatively easy but is a long task and will take about 5 hours to gain all the scrap metal, cogs, gears, and wiring diacovering that the elecrtical components are burnt out and irreparable.
Zack sets about with the helmets, and carefully removes the interior googles and the ID locks on both, leaving the helmets empty. To do the pair it takes 3 hours.
